CarafL is an interactive Android app that helps you in searching for a destination, much like conversing with a driver. A user can use voice commands to find a facility or set a destination by connecting a smartphone with CarafL, or Car-centric life Assistive Friend Link, installed.
The user's voice is analyzed on the central server when they speak into the car navigation system's dedicated microphone. Even if a word is not a fixed word, the center server can still determine its meaning, and the application is able to explain the search result to the user. The user can narrow down the targets by continuing the interaction.
